If you're using the Office 365 subscription service it's possible that Microsoft Just out of curiosity, go to Tools> AutoCorrect & take a close look at the items on the AutoCorrect pane of that dialog to see if the check box I mentioned happens to be there. ![]() ![]() ![]() Neither of those strings change when using Word Online, either. I've since retested & confirmed what I stated in my first reply. Or Word 2010, but actually are using Word 2016 for Mac.Īs I wrote previously, though, I had tested in Word 2016 without being able to reproduce what you're reporting. Thanks for that info :-) It indicates that you really aren't using either Word 2011
